Brad has received many awards for his advocacy, including national awards, such as Best Advocate and the Lewis F. Powell Medal for Excellence in Advocacy from the American College of Trial Lawyers, and was recipient of the Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy from the Lawyers Association of St. Louis. He was selected in 2010 by Missouri Lawyers' Weekly as an "Up & Coming Lawyer," and also in 2010 became a member of the exclusive Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum(C). He also received over 60 individual awards for parliamentary speech and debate competitions while in college and won over 30 tournament championships for speech and debate.

Brad is passionately dedicated to fighting for those who are injured or wronged. He has been involved in and has successfully completed cases in both state and federal courts for injured railroad clients, victims of employment discrimination, victims of defective products, and personal injury victims. He is passionately committed to trying cases and has been recognized by his peers since the very beginning of law school by numerous awards for his trial advocacy.

Brad participated and worked extensively on a case resulting in a $27 Million verdict against the manufacturer of defective firefighting equipment for the widow and children of a St. Louis firefighter. This verdict was the highest jury verdict in Missouri in 2007 and was one of the highest in the United States. Brad also received a $4.5 Million verdict for a woman who lost her fingers in a chicken processing machine in 2009.

Apart from the law, Brad is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, having lived a year in China and is a mentor for high school students from troubled homes who are interested in legal careers. Brad also does pro bono work for the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts Association, providing legal support for arts-related legal problems to low income artists, musicians, and members of the community involved the arts.
