I graduated with honors from the University of Missouri – Columbia’s Journalism school with General Honors from the Honors College. Immediately thereafter, I went to Chicago-Kent College of Law with a Merit Honors scholarship. While at Chicago-Kent, I won a 2009 ABA Labor & Employment Trial Advocacy competition. I also won the 2010 Warren D. Wolfson Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. After I earned my law degree, I went on to teach students at Chicago-Kent. In 2010, my students won an ABA trial competition. Currently, in addition to my work at Brown & Crouppen, I teach trial advocacy at Washington University.
Although I have worked on cases in many areas of law, including family law, criminal law, and medical malpractice, my specialty has always been personal injury. I worked at Sheats & Kellogg, a law firm in Chicago. While there, I specialized in personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents. I also handled cases ranging from premises liability and products liability to wrongful death. The Chicago Law Bulletin published some of the complaints I handled while there.
The clients whose cases I have handled know my zealous commitment to representing them and obtaining the best result possible. My clients are my highest priority. I am dedicated to fighting for clients who have been injured or wronged. I will always fight for what is right and for my clients; they come first.
