Brett joined Brown & Crouppen in January 2015. Prior to joining the firm, he first worked for and became a principal at the St. Louis law firm of Brown & James, P.C., one of the largest litigation firms in Missouri. While there, he gained valuable experience defending corporations and individuals in a wide variety of personal injury cases. After that, Brett moved to Kansas City to join a firm which instead represented interests of those injured by the negligence of others. There he prosecuted cases on behalf of those injured due to defective products, trucking and motor vehicle accidents, and nursing home abuse. Brett continues that focus at Brown & Crouppen.
Brett concentrates his practice in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury including trucking and motor vehicle accidents, nursing home abuse, products liability, and premises liability. He has tried numerous cases before juries both locally and nationwide and has argued before the Missouri Supreme Court and the Missouri Court of Appeals.
