Emery Reusch has been fortunate to prepare and try cases with some of the area’s most well-respected trial attorneys. This has led him to a successful trial practice that has involved trying cases in federal and state courts across the Midwest.
My most recent trial resulted in an excess verdict in a difficult venue for injured people seeking compensation. Based in part on their confidence in a low verdict due to the venue, the insurance company’s final offer was less than half of the $250,000 policy limits that were available. The jury returned a verdict of $375,000. The potential bad faith claim had been properly established, such that the insurance company paid the full verdict amount within two weeks.
Brown & Crouppen stands out for their dedication to the community. Their approach to communication reveals a genuine commitment to improving the safety and welfare of people in communities they serve. Their willingness to expend the resources to ensure success – whether for their employees (resulting in a Best Place to Work award) or for their clients’ cases – is second-to-none. All these factors drew me to the firm.
Emery Reusch is admitted to practice in Missouri, Illinois, and federal courts in the Eastern District of Missouri, the Southern District of Illinois, the Central District of Illinois, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.
