For the 9th year in a row, Brown & Crouppen is honored to announce that our firm was awarded the Top Workplaces 2020 distinction by the St. Louis Post Dispatch. We are beyond thrilled that our efforts landed us at 4th place overall in the mid-size category.

This year we find ourselves in a unique position during the acceptance of such an award as we are all working from home. When we initially made the announcement to send employees home full time, it was a move that we didn’t take lightly. In the days that followed, it became increasingly obvious that we’d made the right decision, as we watched many other companies follow suit. Both St. Louis City and County have issued ‘stay-at-home’ orders, confirming that the quarantine approach we adopted early was indeed the best way to combat the spread of this virus. The wellbeing of our employees and their families has always been our number one priority, and every business decision we make is always to keep their best interest at heart.

Brown & Crouppen has always embraced bold ideas. When Terry and Ron founded the firm in 1979, they had a vision for what a personal injury law firm should be. For the last 40 years we’ve been on a mission to live up to that vision and lead the industry by example – to be the change that our clients deserve. It is, in part, this willingness to change that has led our firm to such great heights. But our current level of success would have been beyond reach were it not for the immeasurable contributions and feedback of our staff. We are dedicated to making Brown & Crouppen one of the best places to work, because we believe we make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and know the monumental importance of providing our employees with a superior work environment.

One of the most impactful changes this year was the implementation of our 401k Match Program. Prior to quarantine, we saw the opening of our B&C Quiet lounge — a multipurpose space set aside to help employees take more refreshing breaks and the launch of our B&C Apparel Store 2.0 – a redesigned platform featuring new options based on their feedback. We’ve also fully realized the benefits of Flex Time and Maternity Leave, two policies added last year, and further invested in programs that we love at the firm, such as Health & Wellness, Lunch & Learns, and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee.

We take great pride in being awarded the Top Workplaces in St. Louis distinction for our 9th consecutive year. The partners proudly share this award with each employee as their compassion and commitment make our firm the special place that it is.
