When any new client hires me after they’ve been in a car wreck uh the first thing I do is I try to get to know them as well as I can and then begin investigating what happened that often times includes not only Gathering documents like the police report uh but also visiting the scene where the crash occurred talking to the police officers who investigated on their behalf as well as any witnesses that we may be able to determine who actually saw what happened uh then it’s a matter of primarily figuring out who was responsible and trying to determine whether the responsible party uh was covered by liability insurance uh once we figure that out we reach out to the various insurance companies involved and we help our clients through uh the oftentimes lengthy process of treating for their injuries uh some clients uh well most of my clients have never been through this before so they may not know which medical providers to go see or the right medical provider to see uh oftentimes they’re seeing in the emergency room and they’re given a set of instructions to follow up with their doctor uh well most of the time that’s it’s much more complicated than that so we guide them through the process we may assist them in finding the right types of medical providers to help them heal from whatever their injuries might be and then once they’re done with that healing process most of the time we’re able to resolve any client’s claim with the liability insurance company uh sometimes we cannot and if that’s the case then we file a lawsuit and we fight it out in court.
