Dusty Gleason

Attorney

Dusty is a dedicated plaintiffs’ attorney and proud Kansas City native. He is admitted to practice in Kansas, Missouri, and the federal courts for the Western and Eastern Districts of Missouri, as well as the Western District of Oklahoma. He is an active member of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (KCMBA) and is working toward membership in additional professional organizations, including the Missouri Association of Trial Attorneys (MATA), the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association (KTLA), and the American Association for Justice (AAJ).

Dusty earned his Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication, with a minor in Philosophy, from William Jewell College. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law, where he served as treasurer for the school’s Climate Action Group.

Before joining Brown & Crouppen, Dusty focused his practice on Nursing Home Abuse cases. His commitment to plaintiff advocacy is deeply personal—Dusty grew up in a family-run law firm and tragically lost his father in a major trucking accident, which led to a long and difficult legal fight. That experience shaped his understanding of the legal system and deepened his resolve to pursue justice for others.

Dusty brings empathy, dedication, and firsthand understanding to every case. Having experienced life on the other side of the table, he knows how vital it is for clients to have a compassionate and skilled advocate in their corner.

In the community, he is especially interested in building relationships with local support organizations, including Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care. When he’s not practicing law, Dusty cherishes raising his family with his wife, whom he considers the love of his life.
