Brown & Crouppen is thrilled to announce the addition of Attorney Rachel Weinhaus to our legal team. Rachel joins us from a prestigious firm in Springfield due to a relocation and we are thrilled to welcome her to our B&C family and St. Louis Community.

RACHEL WEINHAUS’ BACKGROUND

Rachel Weinhaus graduated from St. Louis University – School of Law with a Health Law Certificate. Following law school, Rachel represented people injured in motor vehicle accidents, including semi-trucks and motorcycles, and those seeking disability benefits. Rachel also provided legal consultation services to corporations who sponsor multimillion-dollar retirement plans.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Rachel has been an integral part of the Springfield and greater Missouri legal community. She is an active member of the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association. Additionally, she serves on the Editorial Board of the Missouri Association of Trial Attorney’s quarterly publication, the Missouri Trial Attorney where she is a regular content contributor as well. She frequently participates in lobbying efforts in Jefferson City representing the interests of the underrepresented and injured, and protecting Missouri citizens’ Constitutional Right to Trial by Jury. Weinhaus also served on the Traffic Advisory Board for the City of Springfield, ensuring safe traffic conditions for the citizens of Springfield.

Beyond the commitments listed above, Rachel also served as the Legal Consultant for the Junior League in Springfield, Missouri, an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

ACCOLADES

As far as her recent recognitions are concerned, last year Rachel received the Springfield Metropolitan Bar Association President’s Award. The recipient of the award is selected in recognition of extraordinary service to the Bar Association and the legal profession.

When asked for a favorite saying or quote, Rachel replied, “The higher, the fewer,” a quote from Star Trek: the Next Generation. She elaborated, “This mantra is about excellence to me. Working hard and digging into a case or project elevates the product. As your knowledge or the quality of your work increases, so does the challenges you face. Your competitors are brighter and willing to put in the work, and so the grind continues as you elevate.” This encompasses the outlook and level of exceptional work she will bring to Brown & Crouppen and the St. Louis Community.

Although she has grown up and spent most of her life in the Ozarks area, Rachel looks forward to returning to St. Louis to continue her practice serving the community, underrepresented members of the community, and injured clients. Our firm is proud to welcome her.
