Andrew Michael Luther

Andrew Michael Luther is a trial attorney at Brown & Crouppen who represents injured plaintiffs in wrongful death, catastrophic injury, personal injury, and premises liability cases in state and federal court. Licensed to practice in Missouri and Illinois, Andrew has extensive courtroom experience and has tried cases in both states.

For the first 17 years of his career, Andrew practiced on the defense side, representing physicians and other clinicians in complex medical malpractice and wrongful death litigation. He successfully defended physicians through verdict in multiple malpractice cases across St. Louis, St. Louis County, and St. Charles County. His work earned recognition from Missouri Lawyers Media, including “Top Defense Verdicts” awards in 2018 and 2020.

Today, Andrew brings that experience to the plaintiff’s side at Brown & Crouppen. His years defending medical professionals and institutions provide him with valuable insight into how hospitals, insurers, and defense teams evaluate claims, develop case strategies, and prepare for trial. He now applies that perspective and courtroom experience to advocate for injured people and families seeking justice. Andrew earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2008, graduating cum laude and serving as a member and editor of the Tulsa Law Review. His student comment examining the Oklahoma death penalty was one of three student articles selected for publication by the journal in 2007. He earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University in 2003.

Andrew lives in the City of St. Louis, where he is married with three children, two dogs, and a guinea pig.
