Since joining Brown & Crouppen in 2008, Brent has been a dedicated advocate for people injured in workplace accidents. Brent’s practice has focused solely on helping injured workers with workers’ compensation claims before the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, where he spends most of his time litigating on their behalf. His track record of success includes many settlements exceeding half a million dollars, with some over a million dollars, including obtaining his clients’ a lifetime future medical benefits.
Before joining Brown & Crouppen, Brent gained significant litigation experience, serving in positions including a former County Counselor for St. Louis County, as a municipal court prosecuting attorney, as an Assistant Attorney General, and with the Department of Social Services, where he litigated, among other things, for disabled individuals and abused children.
A licensed attorney in Missouri, Brent earned his law degree from Loyola University School of Law and is a Bradley University alumnus.
Beyond the courtroom, Brent is deeply committed to his family and serving the community. He serves on both the board for Kids’ Chance of Missouri and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. He is also President of the Missouri Bar’s Lawyer Assistance Committee; his efforts in helping other lawyers were recognized with the Missouri Bar’s James T. Britt Memorial Award for advancing relief and recovery for attorneys in Missouri.
