Seth Hicks is an associate at Brown & Crouppen practicing exclusively in the area of personal injury. Prior to joining Brown & Crouppen, Seth practiced in the areas of personal injury, workers’ compensation, family law and general civil litigation, litigating cases across Missouri and Illinois. Seth is licensed to practice law in Illinois, Missouri and in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
Seth attended law school at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, where he served as Associate Justice of the SIU Moot Court Board. As a Moot Court Board member, Seth competed nationally in the area of civil rights law. Seth also served as the Magister of the SIU Inn of Phi Delta Phi International Legal Fraternity and held an officer position in the SIU Law and Medicine Society. Each fall, Seth volunteers as a judge at SIU’s Intramural Moot Court Competition.
Prior to attending law school, Seth earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He worked in direct service roles in child and adolescent community mental health, domestic violence perpetrator intervention and administered a statewide community based violence prevention education program for the State of Indiana.
Seth earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he served on the Student Senate Undergraduate Student Discipline Committee, volunteered in the Adolescent Youth Mentoring Program and earned the four-year service award as a member of the University of Illinois Marching Illini.
